The All New Model Chevy Tahoe SS 2024 Interior, Colors, Specs – The Tahoe had a comprehensive redesign for the 2024 model year, and as a result, it will be the best full-size SUV available. In conjunction with the newly developed independent rear suspension, the adaptive suspension system known as Air Ride can be specified as an add-on. The Chevrolet portfolio has been updated with new 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel engines as well as improved V8 engines, with the 6.2-liter V8 being the most powerful of the bunch and producing 420 horsepower.
Interior Design
The increased rear headroom in the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe is most visible in the third row, which features an additional ten inches of legroom compared to earlier Chevrolet Tahoe evaluations. The controls that are located on the left side of the steering wheel are challenging to see, and the overall design of the cockpit area is uncomplicated. However, the materials that were employed in the interior design aren’t really captivating to look at.

Engine Performance
The naturally aspirated 5.3-liter V8 engine produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, and it, like with the other engine choices, is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. In the past, this engine was dependent on a six-speed gearbox that had seen better days.
A brand-new Duramax turbodiesel inline-six engine with a capacity of 3.0 liters is capable of producing 277 horsepower and an impressive 460 pound-feet of torque. To put the icing on the cake, the 6.2-liter V8 engine is capable of producing 420 horsepower while maintaining the same level of torque as the diesel engine. Both of the V8 engines have a way to turn off individual cylinders so that they use less gas.
The basic V8 engine in the new Tahoe does an excellent job of getting the car around town. However, the new Tahoe is slow, which encourages a more relaxed driving style instead of a mad dash from one place to another at top speed.
During our evaluations, we discovered that this engine has a relatively slow starting time. Because of this, we strongly suggest that you move to another machine if you are able to do so financially. We recommend the powerful 6.2-liter V8 because it makes passing other cars much easier, but a diesel engine is an exciting option for people who want to use less gasoline.
Release Date and Price
In the United States, the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the entry-level 2WD LS trim level of the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe is $49,000. After that comes the LT (priced at $53,800), the RST (priced at $57,100), the 4×4-only Z71 (priced at $59,200), and the Premier (priced at $62,600). The High Country comes in as the most expensive model on the list, with a price tag of $68,100 (with the diesel engine). These prices, which include a $1,295 destination freight fee, are for the least expensive trim levels of each model.
