Interior

Engine
The 5.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 produces 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque and, like the other engine, is connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission. As recently as a few years ago, this engine depended on a six-speed transmission to get around. A new 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel inline-six engine is now available with 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the 6.2-liter V8 engine, which produces 420 horsepower and the same amount of torque as the diesel engine, is included in the package.
When it comes to getting about town in the new Tahoe, the base V8 engine does a great job, but its slowness makes it more suited to driving slowly than rushing from point A to point B at top speed. In our tests, this engine took a long time to respond. If you have the financial means, we strongly advise you to do so. Those who want to save money on petrol may be interested in the diesel engine, which has the advantage of being more powerful and making passing a breeze.

The 2024 Chevy Tahoe starting MSRP in the United States is $49,000 for the 2WD LS variant. The LT ($53,800), RST ($57,100), 4×4-only Z71 ($59,200), and Premier ($62,600) are all in the same ballpark. The High Country is the most costly model in the series, costing a total of $68,100 (with the diesel engine). Included in these rates is the $1,295 destination freight cost for each model.
