2024 Chevy Traverse LT Engine, Horsepower, Specs – The facelifted 2024 Chevy Traverse will be available as a 2024 model year after its original release date was pushed back due to the global pandemic in 2018. But it’s better to be late than never. The second-generation Traverse LT is a three-row midsize crossover that comes standard with a wealth of interior space and is one of the biggest competitors in its market.

With its snappy engine but lack of overall exhilaration, it is one of the most popular today’s most popular vehicles. The Traverse’s available all-wheel drive makes it capable of coping with challenging road conditions, even though it isn’t a true off-roader.
2024 Chevy Traverse Redesign
All new 2024 Chevy Traverse variants for the 2024 model year will include redesigned grilles, a revamped front fascia; standard LED headlights, new LED taillamps, and four new wheel styles. Interior
This segment’s buyers will be pleased with the LT cabin of the 2024 Chevy Traverse. With plenty of room, several storage containers, and easy ergonomics, you can get on with the crucial task of carrying your family without any bother. A few materials, particularly on the higher trims, aren’t as pleasant to the touch as they could be, but this does not detract altogether from the interior’s functionality.
However, there are enough trims to add all of the features you’d want to the basic model, like powered front seats, wireless phone chargers, and parking sensors, so you may have exactly what you’re looking for. Seating for seven is possible in the RS we tested, thanks to the available second-row captain’s seats. Standard equipment includes a bench for the second row. Also, we loved the combo of Jet Black and Spicy Red. Power outlets and USB ports are essential for passengers who need to charge their personal devices while flying.
Engine
The 2024 Chevy Traverse 3.6-liter V6’s outputs of 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft are competitive, even if it isn’t the most sophisticated engine in its class. The power is supplied in a smooth and linear manner, like most naturally-aspirated engines. As a result, the Traverse is a joy to drive both in town and on the highway, where it will happily go at the maximum speed allowed by the law.
A nine-speed automatic gearbox couples the V6’s power to the road. For a mid-size crossover, we found its transmission to be both smooth and swift enough for the vehicle’s size. When it comes to automatic start/stop systems, we can’t claim this for every new car, even those that cost substantially more.
2024 Chevy Traverse Release Date and Price
The entry-level 2024 Chevy Traverse LT starts at $33,700 off-the-shelf. The LT Cloth costs $36,200, the LT Leather is $39,900, and the RS is $44,200. The Premier costs $46,600, while the Chevy Traverse costs more than $50,000 in the High Country. These costs do not include the $1,195 US destination fee or any add-ons. Upgrading from front-wheel drive (FWD) to all-wheel drive (AWD) costs an extra $2,000 on the basic model and a comparable sum on each other model.
